Spring (Mar–May) — The best season. Warm, not punishing. Jacaranda blooms turn Eixample purple in April.
Summer (Jun–Aug) — Start early or go after dark. Our 'After Dark' and 'Rainy Day' walks exist for exactly this.
Autumn (Sep–Nov) — Locals reclaim the streets. La Mercè in September. Golden light. Fewer elbows.
Winter (Dec–Feb) — Mild and moody. Perfect for covered markets, museums, El Raval.
